Total MRO, LLC was the brainchild of Richard (Rich) Foyle in September, 2001. Rich worked in the medical disposable business since graduating from college in 1986 and felt he had a good grasp on the industry and where it was headed. He realized that there was an untapped market in the biomedical research field and wanted to explore that area of the business. His present employer was not interested in exploring that segment of the marketplace, so Rich decided to do it on his own.

Rich started Total MRO in a small office/warehouse facility located near his home in Madison, Connecticut with his wife, Lowri, and his assistant Cheryl, who followed him from his previous company. Jim Raleigh headed up the sales department with years of previous experience and quickly landed lots of new business for Total MRO. With only one large customer, Rich started building the business from the ground up. With lots of travel and hard work, the business grew at a rapid pace.

Today, Total MRO has grown to a total of 20 employees, both in the sales force and in the office. The present office is attached to a 15,000 square foot warehouse to inventory products prior to shipping. Total MRO prides itself on quick turnaround time and customer service.
